the bright spot in each week
Emma has had lessons at High Hopes for approximately 17 years now . In that time , her medical history has included seizure disorder , a liver transplant , left-sided weakness , visual impairment , and most recently , a brain tumor that is now in remission . Her lessons enable her to participate in something that makes her feel good about herself both mentally and physically . Emma counts down each day to her next lesson and just loves the instructors and volunteers that help her . It truly is the only thing she can do and enjoy given her medical history . We can ’ t thank High Hopes enough for providing her with this opportunity each week .
