In the late 1800s , Buffalo had more millionaires per capita than any other city in America , and its stunning array of architectural styles – from Art Deco to Neoclassicism , Gothic Revival , Italianate and dozens more – stands testament to that prosperity . The condensed , walkable city center and of course , the magnificent lake views captured our imaginations , but it was original Buffalo wings at Gabriel ’ s Gate that really captured our hearts ( without heartburn )!
